Using special manufacturing techniques to blend natural stone materials with unique decorations, Italian stone maker Antolini brings architects, designers, and homeowners worldwide an extensive variety of distinctive surface options for their interior and exterior projects. One of the latest additions to their line is the Natura Collection, a stone product that has been enhanced with nature-inspired ornamentations. Some of these designs have been developed through collaborations with noted Italian designers Domenico De Palo and Alessandro La Spada.

Among the recent products resulting from this collaborative work is the Black Absolute “Memorial” granite in the Linea Gold Design. This material is sculpted through a special manufacturing technique that enables a uniform and delicate cut, by beginning with a base material of granite and them seamlessly integrating golden threads of textured detailing placed at varying angles.
The result, according to Antolini, is a “Fusion of modern and classical worlds. Lavish golden threads run seamlessly through dark polished granite in a captivating fashion. This detailing evokes a regal sense of modernism that both elevates and inspires.”

This design can be used in either accent or primary applications, and may be particularly well suited to the bath, as evidenced by the images here that were produced from a spa-inspired room conceived by Warsaw-based interior design firm Tarnowski Division.
